Artists explore the relationship between dopamine and pleasure versus pain. Focusing on a specific aspect of this relationship, such as the role of dopamine in addiction or the role of dopamine in chronic pain conditions. The emotional aspect of the dopamine chemical is not to go unmentioned. Dopamine is a driving force that many are unaware of- causing an addiction not just to substances, but to emotions as well.
